Did anyone here choose Ryerson over UofT for Computer Science? Discussion I realize there are constantly posts from high school students trying to decide which university to go to.

If you want to do engineering, do engineering. If you want to do computer science, do computer science. There is a fair bit of overlap but they are very different things, the former involves a lot of circuits, hardware, other electrical things like fields, signals, controls, and the latter is a lot of math. Ryerson is offering 4 free years of tuition for Aerospace Engineering unlike Waterloo Software Engineering, UofT Engineering Science, and California Institute of Technology. Of all the universities you listed here, I would say Waterloo and UofT's computer engineering programs are great. Queen's program is decent, McMaster, Ryerson and UOIT's programs are crap. If I was an employer and had to hire from the schools you listed here, I would hire from Waterloo, UofT and Queen's but not from McMaster, Ryerson or UOIT.
